(Maryland) Online Driver Improvement Program

Instructions for Online Driver Improvement Program:

1. This online classroom is free for anyone to browse.

2. To satisfy your MVA (Motor Vehicle Administration) requirement and receive an official Driver Improvement Program (DIP) completion certificate, follow these steps:

   a. Complete all six online lessons.

   b. Take a short test (average time = 15 minutes) at the Drivers Edu eCampus Designated Testing Site.

   c. Pay the program fee of $80.00 using credit card, cashapp or cash.

3. Note that a test is mandatory for both online and classroom programs. If you do not achieve a passing grade of 80% or better, you must wait at least 24 hours before retaking the test. The fee will only be collected upon successful test completion.

4. Important: Bring photo identification to the designated testing site. No picture identification means no certificate. Additionally, bring the print-out of the "Completion Letter" at the end of the course and your MVA Referral Letter. If you lack a referral letter, you will be asked to sign a waiver.
